A poem for Dior: My land, my life. It’s not often you get to write a poem for a client. So when Dior asked me to write one about Granville, where Christian Dior spent his childhood, I was thrilled.
It’s where the land meets the sun / to shine on the rugged, / wild beauty of Granville … / Facing the world, / they turn to the golden light / opening up their pastel petals / as if to say… / my land, my beauty, my strength.
